For almost a century the Italian factory Riva 1920 produces furniture made of solid wood – maple, American cherry, oak, walnut, cedar of Lebanon, New Zealand kauri. The bases for their production are a high-quality wood, which is treated with natural oils and waxes, assiduous manual labor and classical Italian design. Today the company successfully combines in its manufacturing both craft work and the latest technologies, and in cooperation with more than a hundred designers creates unique furniture of the highest quality and environmental friendliness.
Riva 1920 treats the wood with very special attention in order to emphasize its peculiar texture. Following the idea that wood is a renewable but not an infinite resource, the company plants seven trees to replace the one used in production.
